Ecology & Intra City Development
Other than commercial and industrial development, tons of emphasis has been given to developing natural green belts in the locality.
A 100-meter-wide natural green belt on either side of the Eastern Peripheral Expressway has been projected.
A circular pattern has been projected for the graceful channelization of inter-city traffic. To alleviate the Delhi-Mathura Road from external traffic, a 60m wide bypass road has been developed.
A 30-meter-wide natural green belt has been projected on either side of the Dedicated Freight Corridor, alongside a 12-meter-wide service road on both sides.
A space of 4,021 hectares has been projected for Transport Nagars, close to the projected industrial sectors on main roads.
Interstate and Intercity Connectivity

Delhi-Mathura Road or National Highway No. 44 would still be the central axis for inter-state traffic between Uttar Pradesh and Delhi.
To facilitate connectivity with Greater Noida and Noida, two linkages from the outer peripheral road, close to Sectors 92 & 95, are projected.
Provision of a Regional Rapid Transit System on the present Delhi-Mathura Railway Line, together with the Regional Orbital Rail Corridor (IRORC), has been planned. IRORC to connect Sonepat-Jhajjar-Gurugram-Faridabad-Dadri-Meerut-Baghpat-Sonepat.

Eastern Peripheral Expressway
This is a significant logistics bypass road connecting Kundli – Noida- Palwal major Industrial hubs in Haryana and Uttar Pradesh. Declared as National Expressway 2, this expressway starts from the Western Peripheral Expressway at Kundli, Sonipat and rejoins the Western Peripheral Expressway close to Dholagarh, Palwal. The 135 km long, 6-lane expressway passes through Baghpat, Ghaziabad, Noida and Faridabad in Uttar Pradesh and Haryana. Eastern Peripheral Expressway together with Western Peripheral Expressway completes the biggest Ring Road around Delhi.
DMIC Corridor
The Delhi–Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) connects Delhi and Mumbai and passes through Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Gujarat. The project was launched in 2006 in pursuance of an MoU signed between the Indian Government and the Government of Japan. The 1,540 km (approx.) long dedicated merchandise corridor, planned as an advanced industrial zone, is one of the world's biggest infrastructure projects with a calculable investment of US$90 billion.

IMT-Faridabad Industrial Hub
A new Industrial Model Township (IMT) is being established by the Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) in Faridabad. It has devoted integrated sites for Commercial, Industrial, Residential and Institutional development. In terms of accessibility, the Yamuna Expressway that touches the city at Lalpur and farther connects NH-2 at Shahpur improves the connectivity between Faridabad and Noida.
The three-laning of the Faridabad-Gurgaon Road, the widening of the Surajkund Road and another highway road from Kalindi Kunj that connects all the new sectors and merges with the Mathura Road on the opposite facet of Faridabad has expedited real estate growth in the area.
Delhi – Kolkata (NH 19)
